Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including, trimming, edging, and pruning using hand tools and power equipment Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. We do not have anything to do with lawn mowing Assist with planting, transplanting, and plant identification to ensure healthy growth and landscape aesthetics Manage irrigation systems for optimal watering schedules, troubleshooting issues as needed Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to maintain healthy plants and control pests Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe outdoor environments Follow all safety procedures diligently while handling tools, equipment, and chemicals to prevent accidents Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping tools and equipment Experience in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, or related outdoor work roles Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment operation Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management Ability to manage irrigation systems effectively for water conservation and plant health Strong understanding of lawn care techniques including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration Familiarity with safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and chemical handling Previous experience with snow plowing or winter groundskeeping is a plus Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Embark on a rewarding journey maintaining beautiful landscapes that enhance communities!
