Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! As a key contributor, you will assist with a variety of landscape projects, ensuring that parks, commercial properties, and residential areas look their best year-round. Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation using hand tools and power equipment Perform routine groundskeeping tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, edging walkways, and maintaining flower beds Operate grounds maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and effectively Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure healthy plant growth and efficient water use Manage landscape upkeep by pruning trees and shrubs, removing debris, and applying fertilizers or pesticides following safety protocols Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or leaf removal to keep outdoor areas safe and accessible during winter months Follow all safety procedures diligently while handling equipment, chemicals, and performing outdoor work to prevent accidents Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and power tools Experience in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, or gardening preferred Ability to identify various plants, trees, shrubs, weeds, pests, and common horticultural issues Knowledge of pesticide management practices for safe application when necessary Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting techniques Strong understanding of lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration Outdoor work experience demonstrating physical stamina and attention to safety protocols at all times Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills make a visible difference!
