Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Groundskeeper to maintain the landscaping and exterior appearance of five residential properties on Maryland's Eastern Shore. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in well-maintained grounds, works independently, and has a good eye for detail.
Primary Responsibilities:
Mow, edge, and maintain lawns on a regular schedule. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, hedges, and ornamental plants. Weed flower beds, garden areas, walkways, and other landscaped spaces. Apply and distribute mulch as needed. Perform spring and fall seasonal cleanups, including leaf removal, cutting back perennials, and preparing properties for seasonal changes. Remove fallen branches, debris, and other yard waste. Maintain a neat and attractive appearance across all properties. Monitor properties for landscaping issues, damaged plants, drainage concerns, fallen trees/branches, and other maintenance needs. Perform minor exterior repairs and general handyman tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, property maintenance, or related experience preferred. Strong knowledge of basic lawn and landscape maintenance. Ability to safely operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment. Basic handyman and repair skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks across multiple properties. Dependable, responsible, and attentive to detail. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level. Opportunity for consistent, year-round work.
