Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, applying your skills in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and equipment operation. You will be instrumental in ensuring landscapes are healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing by performing a variety of hands-on tasks. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, planting flowers, and mulching beds to keep outdoor areas pristine. Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment including power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers safely and efficiently. Identify various plants and trees to support horticultural health and perform plant identification tasks to ensure proper care. Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. Follow safety procedures diligently during all activities to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment. Experience Previous outdoor work experience or grounds maintenance background preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment is highly advantageous. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting is desirable. Ability to identify various plants, pests, and diseases relevant to horticulture practices. Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks.
