Overview Join our dynamic team as an Irrigation and Landscape Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments through expert irrigation and landscape care. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a variety of settings, applying your skills to create beautiful, healthy landscapes. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems, groundskeeping tasks, and landscape features to ensure our clients' outdoor spaces thrive. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to the overall beauty and functionality of each project. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering efficiency and coverage Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, edging, fertilizing, and plant care to promote healthy growth Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and hardscape tools safely and effectively Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and pests to support proper horticultural practices and pest management strategies Maintain safety protocols during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards Execute grounds maintenance tasks including debris removal, soil preparation, planting, and hardscape installation or repair Manage pesticide application following proper procedures for pest control while adhering to pesticide management regulations Qualifications Proven outdoor work experience with groundskeeping or landscaping projects Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and landscaping equipment operation Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, pruning, planting, and hardscape work Ability to identify plants, pests, and common landscape issues confidently Experience with pesticide management practices in accordance with safety standards Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping tasks Knowledge of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
