Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Snow Removal Technician to ensure safe and accessible outdoor environments during winter months. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently clearing snow and ice from walkways, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas. Your proactive approach will help maintain safety standards, prevent accidents, and keep properties welcoming despite challenging winter weather conditions. Duties Operate snow removal equipment such as plow trucks, snow blowers, shovels, and hand tools to clear snow and ice from various surfaces. Apply salt, sand, or other de-icing materials to prevent ice formation and enhance safety. Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas to identify hazardous icy patches or snow buildup. Maintain and troubleshoot groundskeeping and landscaping equipment to ensure optimal performance during winter operations. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during snow removal activities. Coordinate with property managers or clients to prioritize areas requiring immediate attention. Document completed work and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly. Preferred Requirements Proven outdoor work experience, particularly in groundskeeping, landscaping, or snow removal roles. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, ground maintenance equipment, and landscaping machinery. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, hardscape upkeep, irrigation systems, and plant identification. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently in outdoor environments. Knowledge of pesticide management and horticulture principles is a plus but not mandatory. Strong adherence to safety protocols with a focus on safe equipment operation and hazard prevention. Excellent physical stamina for lifting, shoveling, bending, and working in cold weather conditions.
