Non-Exempt = overtime eligible
Work Schedule:
Traditionally Monday - Friday, 5:00am - 1:30pm; variable shift/variable days; occasional evening and weekend work
Salary:
Hourly Rate:
$18.67 starting; $19.53 working
Travel:
No travel
Brief Statement of Duties Brief Statement of Duties:
Under routine supervision, engage in a variety of housekeeping, custodial and maintenance projects in University buildings and on adjacent grounds.
Minimum Qualifications Required Education:
High School Graduation or Equivalent Discipline/Degree Area:
Required Specialized Training/Certifications:
Valid motor vehicle operator's license as required.
Required Minimum Work Experience:
Combination of two years of experience in custodial and/or building and grounds maintenance work in hotels/motels, apartments, or relevant business or institutional settings. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the
Position Duties:
Physical capability to perform all the duties and responsibilities of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to pass relevant oral, written, and/or performance testing. Ability to maintain currency of technology and tools. Conscientious and self-motivated. High standards for self and others. Collegial and congenial. Works well with others, is a team player.
