Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting, mulching, and hardscape setup to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Perform routine landscape maintenance such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep grounds pristine. Operate groundskeeping equipment including power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Identify various plants and trees to support proper plant health and landscape design. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to maintain healthy plant growth. Maintain groundskeeping tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean, functional, and stored properly. Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is valued. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscape equipment operation. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management practices. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while operating equipment or handling chemicals. Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is essential. Strong attention to detail with an eye for landscape aesthetics and maintenance standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and tasks related to grounds maintenance.
