Overview Residential Property Management Company in search of hardworking dependable individuals to maintain the grounds at several apartment communities located in Novi & Northville, Birmingham, Clawson. Duties includes such things as trimming shrubs and fall clean up, snow removal and salting walks on snowy days and additional duties requested by management. Applicants will be subject to a background check prior to employment. Duties include but are not limited to Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to maintain healthy lawns and landscaped areas using power tools and hand tools snow removal Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to control pests and promote plant health Install and repair hardscape features such as pathways, retaining walls, and decorative stonework Conduct routine inspections of outdoor spaces to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards Experience at least one year prior outdoor work experience in groundskeeping or landscaping and now removal preferred Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting Familiarity with irrigation systems and their operation is a plus Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers Snow removal Understanding of safety protocols related to pesticide use, equipment operation, and outdoor work environments Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately while working outdoors in various weather conditions
