Job Summary Join our dynamic groundskeeping team as a Lawn Maintenance Crew Member and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of landscape maintenance tasks, operating groundskeeping equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Duties Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, edging, and mulching to enhance aesthetic appeal. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Use hand tools and groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently for hardscape installation or repair projects. Identify various plants, shrubs, and trees to support horticultural health and landscape design. Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents during outdoor work activities. Perform routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or hazards requiring attention. Experience Prior outdoor work experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or lawn care is highly preferred. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, edging, pruning, and plant identification. Familiarity with irrigation systems, pesticide management, and horticulture practices is a plus. Ability to operate groundskeeping machinery such as riding mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools safely. Mechanical knowledge related to landscape maintenance equipment operation and troubleshooting. Experience adhering to safety protocols in outdoor environments to ensure personal and team safety.
