In this role, you will oversee daily lawn care, landscape maintenance, ensuring high-quality results and efficient operations. Your leadership will drive team performance, coordinate landscaping activities, and manage equipment to maintain beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. This is a hands-on position that combines supervisory responsibilities with active outdoor work, perfect for someone passionate about horticulture, grounds maintenance, and team management. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate lawn care and landscape maintenance to ensure timely completion and quality standards. Lead a crew of groundskeeping staff, assigning tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, weeding. Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, and landscaping tools safely and effectively. Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and ground cover to ensure proper care and health of landscaped areas. Oversee the operation of company vehicles for transportation to job sites while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Extensive experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping practices. Proven supervising experience with team management skills to motivate and guide crew members effectively. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification and care techniques. Skilled in hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Familiarity with irrigation management systems for efficient water distribution across landscaped areas. Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely; experience with construction or hardscape tools is a plus. Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills to coordinate teams and liaise with clients or project managers.
