Duties Assist with landscape installation including planting, sod laying, and hardscape construction such as patios and walkways Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks like mowing, trimming, pruning trees, and shrubbery care Operate hand tools and power tools safely to carry out various landscaping activities Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure healthy plant growth Use excavators and other construction equipment for site preparation and grading tasks Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, leaves, and snow plowing when necessary Conduct routine tree care including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping machinery and tools effectively Experience with lawn care practices such as mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques including irrigation systems and gardening practices Proficiency with hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) for efficient work execution Familiarity with hardscape materials like pavers or retaining walls for construction projects Knowledge of horticulture principles to support plant health and landscape design goals Ability to perform snow plowing operations during winter months for year-round service readiness This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy outdoor work, have a keen eye for detail, and are eager to learn new skills in landscaping.
