Duties Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, fertilizing, and planting to keep grounds healthy and attractive Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, power trimmers, aerators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to prevent overwatering or drought stress Conduct athletic field groundskeeping tasks such as lining fields, repairing turf damage, and ensuring safe playing surfaces Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, manual handling of materials, and use of hand tools for landscaping projects Apply pesticides or herbicides following safety protocols to control pests and weeds effectively Perform routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and address them promptly Requirements Proven experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or turf management; golf course groundskeeping experience is a plus Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and pest management techniques Ability to operate power tools safely including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment Physical ability to perform manual labor involving heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor activity in various weather conditions Familiarity with equipment maintenance routines to ensure longevity and optimal performance of tools and machinery Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles or grounds maintenance equipment as needed Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining safe and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces Join us in creating vibrant outdoor environments that foster community engagement and outdoor enjoyment!
