Responsibilities Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, snow blowers, shovels, and salt spreaders to clear designated areas effectively. Assess weather conditions regularly to determine the need for snow and ice removal activities. Apply salt or other de-icing materials to prevent ice buildup and ensure safe walking and driving surfaces. Maintain all groundskeeping tools and equipment, performing routine inspections and basic repairs as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently during outdoor work to prevent slips, trips, falls, or equipment accidents. Collaborate with landscaping teams during off-season periods to assist with grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing or landscape upkeep. Document completed work and report any hazards or equipment issues promptly to supervisors. Experience Prior outdoor work experience, particularly in snow removal or groundskeeping roles. Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, ground maintenance equipment, and irrigation systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with landscape maintenance, hardscape features, and plant identification enhances effectiveness on the job. Knowledge of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments is essential. Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
