Forge Site Solutions, LLC is a growing commercial and industrial property maintenance company serving Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team and assist with lawn and grounds maintenance services. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants the opportunity to grow with a small company. Responsibilities Commercial lawn mowing using professional-grade equipment String trimming, edging and blowing off sidewalks, parking lots and other hard surfaces Maintaining a clean and professional appearance at customer properties Seasonal property cleanups and leaf removal Shrub trimming and general grounds maintenance Assisting with mulch and other property maintenance projects as needed Loading, unloading and securing equipment Basic daily equipment inspection and cleanup Safely operating mowers, trimmers, blowers and other landscape equipment Following company safety procedures and property-specific instructions What We're Looking For Experience in commercial lawn or landscape maintenance is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

The ideal candidate:

Is dependable and shows up on time Takes pride in their work and pays attention to details Can work efficiently without sacrificing quality Is comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Can safely perform physically demanding outdoor work Is willing to learn and take direction Treats company equipment and customer properties with respect Works well independently and as part of a small team Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work Experience operating commercial zero-turn or stand-on mowers and safely towing trailers is a plus. Pay & Advancement Starting pay: $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This position includes a 90-day introductory period with performance reviews as the employee progresses. There is opportunity for increased pay and responsibility as the employee demonstrates the ability to safely operate equipment, drive and tow, complete properties independently, and take greater responsibility for daily operations. Schedule Hours will vary depending on workload, season and weather. Applicants should understand that property maintenance is weather-dependent and schedules may occasionally change. Additional hours and seasonal work may be available as Forge Site Solutions continues to grow.
