Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining pristine, playable golf course grounds. This energetic position involves performing a variety of groundskeeping, landscaping, and turf management tasks to ensure the course remains visually appealing, safe, and well-maintained for players. You will operate specialized equipment, utilize hand tools, and apply horticultural practices to uphold the highest standards of course quality. Responsibilities Maintain the golf course's turf by mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth and optimal playing conditions Operate groundskeeping equipment including mowers, chainsaws, power tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping machinery with a focus on safety and efficiency Perform irrigation system inspections and repairs to ensure proper watering schedules and prevent water waste Carry out landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, trimming trees and shrubs, applying pesticides responsibly, and managing landforms for aesthetic appeal Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of materials like soil, mulch, or equipment parts while adhering to proper safety protocols Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and minor repairs to ensure reliable operation Assist in athletic field groundskeeping activities when needed to support various sports or event preparations Qualifications Prior experience in golf course groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is highly desirable Knowledge of irrigation systems, pesticide management, and turf care practices Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, chainsaws, and grounds maintenance equipment Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and effectively Strong understanding of safety procedures related to power tool operation and equipment maintenance Familiarity with horticulture principles and landscaping techniques is a plus Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles or similar machinery preferred Join us in delivering exceptional outdoor environments that inspire enjoyment and pride!
