Available assignments include:

An ASD/DCD center-based classroom focused on students (6-8 per class) with cognitive disabilities, alternative communication devices, and mobility-related needs. Alternative curriculum delivery and assistance with daily living skills and self-care are integral components. An A+ classroom for children (8-12 per class) primarily identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder, emphasizing modified curriculum and the development of regulation skills to boost participation in inclusive educational activities. A MAPD classroom designed for students (8-12 per class) with emotional behavior disorders, utilizing personalized approaches to facilitate academic growth and emotional regulation.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid and active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (required for all applicants) Experience supporting students with ASD, cognitive disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, or multiple disabilities Strong collaboration skills for working alongside paraprofessionals, therapists, and families Ability to implement individualized education plans and utilize alternative and adaptive curriculum Familiarity with adaptive equipment, AAC devices, and sensory regulation strategies is highly valued
