Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep grounds attractive and healthy. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health management. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Conduct tree trimming, pruning, and hardscape maintenance to preserve safety and aesthetic appeal. Apply pesticides responsibly following safety protocols to control pests while protecting the environment. Follow all safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment during outdoor activities. Experience Previous outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is highly preferred. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, planting, pruning, and hardscape upkeep. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and grounds equipment operation. Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment troubleshooting and repair is a plus. Understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and care practices. Experience with pesticide management and adherence to safety protocols is advantageous. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
