Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Warmer season tasks will include lawn and landscaping maintenance, such as mowing, weed whipping, watering, planting, trimming, raking, leaf blowing, and debris removalColder season tasks will include snow removal, application of salt and sand on sidewalks and entrywaysDuties performed with and without the use of equipment; training will be providedTrash pickup around campusEquipment maintenanceAssist facilities and maintenance operators with other miscellaneous projects and tasks as assignedTraining will be provided
Compensation and BenefitsRate of Pay:
$16.45/hourMinnesota Sick and Safe timeNot eligible for health insurance benefits
Timeframe:
Academic year: 4-10 hours per weekQualificationsRequirements include:

If driving is assigned, applicants must have a clean driving record The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, with other students and employeesA positive attitude, and willingness to work and take directionPunctuality and reliabilityPhysical demands and work environment will include: Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, reaching, pulling, stooping, and repetitive motions.
Occasional carrying of up to 80 pounds, frequent lifting of smaller weights.
