SNOW SHOVELING CREW MEMBER

Peter Doran Lawn & Landscaping Peter Doran Lawn & Landscaping is looking for reliable, hardworking team members to join our winter snow removal crew. This position involves traveling to assigned residential properties in your own vehicle and hand shoveling snow from sidewalks, walkways, steps, entrances, and other designated areas.

COMMISSION-BASED PAY

Pay is commission-based and earned per property successfully completed. Each property must be fully and correctly serviced according to company standards. Employees are responsible for traveling between assigned properties using their own reliable vehicle . Employees who work efficiently and complete more properties correctly have the opportunity to earn more. Quality and completeness are just as important as speed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Travel to assigned customer properties using your own vehicle. Hand shovel sidewalks, walkways, steps, entrances, and other designated areas. Clear snow around garage doors and other required access areas. Apply salt or ice melt as directed. Complete each property thoroughly and correctly. Work carefully around landscaping, vehicles, buildings, and other property features. Follow assigned routes and complete all assigned properties. Communicate with the office or supervisor regarding property issues or obstacles. Properly use and maintain snow-removal equipment provided by the company.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a reliable personal vehicle suitable for traveling between customer properties in winter weather. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Reliable and dependable. Physically able to shovel snow for extended periods. Comfortable working outside in cold, snowy, and windy conditions. Able to work overnight, early mornings, weekends, and holidays when snow events require. Able to work independently and stay on schedule. Previous snow-removal experience is helpful but not required.

SNOW EVENT EXPECTATIONS

•Snow removal is weather-dependent. When a snow event occurs, employees must be prepared to report to work and remain available until their assigned properties are completed. This is a commission-based position—not a traditional hourly position. Your earnings are based on the properties you successfully complete, so efficiency, reliability, and quality workmanship are important. $30.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 50.0 per week
