In this energetic role, you will assist customers with their gardening and landscaping needs, maintain the appearance and organization of the garden center, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience. Whether you're passionate about horticulture, enjoy working outdoors, or have a flair for floral design, this position offers a dynamic environment where your skills can flourish. Specifically looking for skidloader skills and maintenance capability for the skidloader, and plant/garden knowledge. Duties Assist customers in selecting plants, gardening supplies, and outdoor decor to meet their landscaping goals Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the garden center and surrounding displays Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring all products are properly labeled and accessible Operate cash registers using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cash transactions accurately, and process sales efficiently Support floral design projects and seasonal merchandising to enhance store presentation Collaborate with team members to ensure inventory levels are maintained and restocked promptly Skidloader skill Ability to lift 50 pounds . Qualifications Passion for gardening, horticulture, or outdoor landscaping with some knowledge of lawn care and landscape maintenance techniques Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities in English; multilingual skills are a plus Experience with retail sales operations including cashiering, retail math, and cash handling procedures Familiarity with POS systems and inventory stocking practices Organizational skills to manage merchandising displays and maintain a tidy work environment Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while staying energetic and attentive Positive attitude with a willingness to learn about gardening products and retail operations Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for plants and outdoor spaces can grow!
