Responsibilities Operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other arborist equipment safely and efficiently to perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks Use rigging techniques and arborist rigging tools to safely lower large branches or entire trees during removal or maintenance operations Conduct plant pruning with precision to promote healthy growth and enhance tree structure Assist with tree removal projects by preparing sites, handling rigging, and ensuring safe work practices are followed Maintain detailed records of work performed, including tree conditions, pruning specifics, and safety inspections Follow strict safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure team safety during outdoor work activities Collaborate with team members on complex tasks such as working from bucket trucks or using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for mapping and planning Requirements Demonstrated ability to operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other arborist tools safely Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and removal techniques Familiarity with arborist rigging techniques for safe tree dismantling and lowering operations Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously in all aspects of outdoor work Growing experience in horticulture or related disciplines is highly desirable Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and work at heights comfortably Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills such as GIS mapping or advanced rigging methods Join us in shaping vibrant landscapes while advancing your skills in tree care!
