We are looking for a dependable, hands-on groundskeeper who takes pride in keeping our communities clean, safe, and welcoming. This is a full-time position at Wilshire Apartments . Groundskeeper duties include, but are not limited to: Daily removal of litter and trash from the community grounds Distribute notices and flyers as needed Report safety issues and property damage Assist with snow removal and application of ice melt Perform light checks for building exteriors, hallways, and common areas Assist with quarterly preventative maintenance checks Assist with make ready type repairs in vacant apartments Assist with moving large appliances on the property Water flowers and trees that aren't covered by sprinklers About Peterson Properties, Inc. : Family-owned property management company with communities in KS, MO, NE, and IA Equal Opportunity Employer Committed to excellent customer service and strong team culture

Requirements:

Experience working on pools is preferred, but not required Ability to use iPad or smartphone is required Ability to meet physical demands including constant walking, standing, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 50lbs on a frequent basis. Time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work Successfully complete background and drug screening Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is required Compensation is based on experience.

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
