HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Grounds crewmember responsibilities entail the maintenance and cleanliness of the property exterior, outdoor public areas and all areas between the property lines and the building structure. Job functions include but are not limited to the following duties: Emptying all parking lot trash receptacles Removing all litter from parking areas, landscaped areas and public sidewalks Maintaining curb appeal at all property lines Collecting all trash inside the pool courtyard area Emptying all exterior pool trash cans Ensuring pool area is clean of all litter and debris Maintaining cleanliness of crewmember parking (gravel lot) Clearing and maintaining cleanliness of retention pond areas and shrubbery Emptying large trash receptacle into dumpster as needed, no less than end of each shift Keeping potted plants around pool area watered and free of trash Periodic sweeping of parking areas as needed Assisting with securing pool furniture during storm preparation Other job duties as assigned by management

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES

None

EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED

Groundskeeping, landscaping or EVS experience preferred, but not required. Good observational skills and attention to detail .

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, and organizational skills. Potential for back and eye strain and exposure to outdoor elements.
