This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in groundskeeping, landscaping, and equipment operation. You will contribute to the upkeep of lawns, gardens, hardscape features, and irrigation systems, ensuring our landscapes are vibrant, healthy, and visually appealing. Whether performing routine maintenance or assisting with specialized projects, your efforts will help transform outdoor environments into inviting and sustainable spaces. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other structures to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal Assist with tree trimming, shrub pruning, and plant identification to promote plant health and landscape design goals Manage irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and adjusting controllers for optimal watering schedules Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to pathways and parking areas Follow all safety protocols diligently while handling chemicals like pesticides or herbicides and operating machinery Requirements Prior outdoor work experience with groundskeeping or landscaping preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools required for efficient operation Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods Knowledge of safety procedures related to equipment operation and chemical handling necessary for a secure work environment Strong attention to detail in landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and hardscape upkeep Valid experience in irrigation system installation or repair is advantageous but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help shape stunning outdoor environments!
