Overview Join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team as a Lawn Care Worker and bring vibrant, healthy landscapes to life! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful lawns, gardens, and grounds through expert landscaping and groundskeeping practices. Your dedication will ensure outdoor spaces are safe, lush, and inviting for communities and clients alike. Duties Operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, and other power tools to cut grass, trim shrubs, and shape trees with precision. Maintain landscapes by planting, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and removing weeds to promote healthy growth. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for pedestrians and vehicles. Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair; perform minor hardscape repairs when necessary. Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Assist with pest management by applying pesticides responsibly and identifying plant diseases or pests that may threaten landscape health. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools for efficient operation and maintenance. Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping practices. Ability to identify various plants, trees, pests, and signs of disease through plant identification skills. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Familiarity with pesticide management procedures following safety guidelines. Hands-on experience with tree trimming, hardscape installation or repair, and snow plowing is a plus.
