Support the installation of hardscape features like pathways, retaining walls, and patios, ensuring proper placement and stability. Perform routine landscape upkeep including weed control, fertilization, pest management, and soil preparation using appropriate techniques and pesticides when necessary. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions, adjusting controllers, and ensuring proper watering schedules. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to assist with plant health assessments and proper care routines. Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or background in groundskeeping or landscaping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment operation and maintenance is highly desirable. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, lawn care equipment, and irrigation systems enhances your ability to perform effectively. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, pesticide management, and hardscape installation is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a high level of safety awareness. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately for landscape maintenance tasks.
