Job Description
Job Overview Highlands Treehouse Retreat is hiring a full-time Groundskeeper / Property Caretaker to oversee all daily operations of our boutique vacation rental property in the mountains of Highlands, NC. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who loves hospitality, takes pride in a well-run property, and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work. On-site housing may be available for the right candidate. Responsibilities Oversee property cleaning, turnovers, and quality inspections Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendor relationships Manage reservations and guest communications across booking platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.) Drive revenue through upsells and guest add-on packages Be available on call for urgent property or guest issues 7 days and On-site position 2pm-6pm (28 hours minimum on low season and on call) - hours will be adjusted on day to day basis Requirements 2+ years in property management, hospitality, or operations Strong organizational skills Experience with vacation rental platforms preferred Social media savy a plus Flexible schedule including weekends; on-call availability Must be reliable, proactive, and guest-focused Benefits Salary based on experience Growth opportunity within a boutique hospitality brand
