Job Summary Join our dynamic groundskeeping team as a Grounds Keeper/Landscaping professional dedicated to maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of various landscapes, including athletic fields, golf courses, and general grounds. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, irrigation systems, and equipment operation will help create inviting environments that inspire and serve our community. Duties Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and fertilizing to keep grounds vibrant and healthy Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as power tools, chainsaws, aerators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to prevent over or under-watering Conduct athletic field groundskeeping tasks including field marking, turf repair, and ensuring safe playing surfaces Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, soil aeration, planting trees or shrubs, and debris removal with proper techniques Apply pesticides or herbicides following safety protocols to control pests and weeds while protecting the environment Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all work areas by inspecting equipment regularly and performing routine maintenance Skills Proficiency in irrigation system management and troubleshooting Experience with athletic field groundskeeping and golf course maintenance techniques Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, pruning, and soil management Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, along with power tools like trimmers and blowers safely Skilled in equipment maintenance to ensure longevity and optimal performance of landscaping machinery Knowledge of pesticide management procedures adhering to safety standards Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling for tasks involving soil, plants, or equipment transport Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles and grounds maintenance machinery Join us in creating beautiful outdoor environments that serve our community!
