GrowinGreen is hiring high-energy, dependable seasonal worker to join our aeration and seeding teams this fall. This position offers $600 bonus for those who qualify.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a hands-on, physically active outdoor position supporting our fall lawn aeration and seeding services throughout the Lake Norman area. You will work alongside an experienced team member to safely and efficiently complete scheduled properties each day. The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, works well with others, and takes pride in completing quality work. Lawn care experience is helpful but not required—we will provide training.
DAILY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrive on time and prepared to work each scheduled day Participate in the morning team meeting and review the daily route Load seed, equipment, fuel, safety gear, and other necessary materials Travel with the aeration team to scheduled residential properties Operate or assist with core aeration and seeding equipment Walk lawns to identify property boundaries, obstacles, and marked utilities Protect irrigation heads, landscape beds, driveways, sidewalks, and other property features Apply grass seed evenly and at the correct rate Help move equipment safely between lawns and transport vehicles Keep the truck, trailer, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Communicate respectfully with teammates, managers, and clients Report equipment problems, property concerns, or service issues immediately Follow all company procedures and safety requirements Complete each property thoroughly before moving to the next stop Assist with end-of-day cleanup, equipment checks, and preparation for the following day
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, rain, and changing fall weather Ability to walk several miles and remain active throughout the workday Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to safely push, pull, and operate heavy lawn equipment Ability to repeatedly bend, lift, walk, and stand for extended periods Willingness to work longer days when weather or scheduling requires it
