Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lawn Maintenance Crew Leaders to oversee and coordinate outdoor groundskeeping activities. In this role, you will lead a team of lawn care professionals, ensuring high-quality landscape maintenance, turf care, and hardscape projects. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and excellence in every task, from mowing and planting to irrigation management and equipment operation. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening tasks performed by crew members Lead outdoor work activities including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and hardscape installation Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and seasonal adjustments to ensure optimal landscape health Oversee the operation of grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and landscape machinery Ensure safety protocols are followed during all outdoor activities and equipment use Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and landscape features to maintain quality standards Requirements Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles Supervising or team management experience in outdoor or groundskeeping environments Knowledge of irrigation systems and irrigation management practices Ability to operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment safely and effectively Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team in outdoor conditions Must have reliable transportation Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles required for site visits and project transportation Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; experience with hardscape installation is a plus Drug test may be required
