Responsibilities Assist in landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and edging to ensure healthy and attractive grounds Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests; apply pesticide management practices following safety protocols Conduct snow plowing or salt spreading operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for pedestrians and vehicles Follow all safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment while handling tools and equipment Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or background in groundskeeping or landscaping is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance is a plus Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, and lawn care techniques Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting processes is a bonus but we will train. Understanding of pesticide management procedures adhering to safety standards is a bonus but we will train .
