Handyman/Groundskeeper Location:

Valle Crucis, North Carolina A farm in Valle Crucis, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced, dependable, and self-motivated Handyman/Groundskeeper to help maintain and improve the property. This is a long-term position, and not seasonal. Please only apply if you are able to honor this commitment Responsibilities include: General farm, barn, and property maintenance Groundskeeping, mowing, trimming, landscaping, and seasonal cleanup Basic carpentry, repairs, and improvement projects Fence, gate, stall, shed, and outbuilding maintenance Maintenance and minor repair of farm equipment and tools Identifying needed repairs and addressing problems promptly Keeping barns, work areas, and grounds clean, safe, and orderly Working closely with the owner on ongoing maintenance and farm-improvement projects Assisting with other duties as needed on a working farm

Qualifications:

Previous farm maintenance, groundskeeping, construction, carpentry, or handyman experience required Ability to work safely around livestock, farm animals, equipment, and machinery Working knowledge of common hand and power tools Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and complete projects efficiently Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
