We are seeking a talented and motivated Landscape Crew Leader to serve as the extension of our production manager. In this role, you will lead a small team of 2-5 members and oversee landscape maintenance across mixed property types. You will train the crew, inspect sites, and ensure all tasks meet client expectations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate has a strong background in landscape maintenance and lawn care, mechanical skills for equipment upkeep, and the physical stamina to work outdoors in various conditions. This position offers growth opportunities, including advancement to Production Manager, and includes holiday pay benefits. Responsibilities Lead and train a small team of landscape maintenance workers. Perform and oversee tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and pruning. Inspect sites for irrigation, plant health, and sod issues to identify deficiencies. Utilize power and hand tools effectively and safely. Maintain and troubleshoot landscaping equipment through routine checks and repairs. Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and efficient throughout the day. Manage time and resources to meet project deadlines and client expectations. Travel up to 25% to various job sites as required. Required Qualifications Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening. Proficiency operating power tools such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Knowledge of plant care, lawn care techniques, and landscape design basics. Physical ability to perform outdoor labor including digging, lifting, and prolonged standing. Willingness to relocate to Wilmington, NC 28401 prior to starting work. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in landscape maintenance. Valid driver's license. Skills in equipment maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting. Team leadership and communication abilities. Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
