Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge cutters, and other power tools to maintain lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas efficiently and safely Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and mulching to promote plant health and aesthetics Use hand tools for edging, weeding, aerating soil, and installing or repairing hardscape features like pathways or retaining walls Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to ensure proper care and pest management practices are followed Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and adjusting sprinkler schedules for optimal watering Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment Assist with snow plowing or de-icing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible when weather conditions demand Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or horticulture is highly preferred Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, trimming, planting, and soil care Familiarity with landscape equipment operation such as power tools (e.g., blowers, trimmers), irrigation systems, and snow removal equipment Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and basic troubleshooting of groundskeeping machinery Ability to identify plants and pests accurately for effective plant care and pesticide management Commitment to safety protocol adherence in all aspects of outdoor maintenance tasks Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is advantageous Join us in creating stunning outdoor environments while developing your skills in landscape maintenance!
