Full-Time Job Summary Schultz Property Maintenance, LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and thrives in an outdoor, team-oriented environment. This is a physically active position that requires a strong work ethic and a positive attitude year-round. Key Responsibilities Perform routine grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing landscaped areas. Prune, trim, and maintain trees, shrubs, hedges, and flower beds. Apply fertilizers and herbicides safely and according to established guidelines. Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed for seasonal displays or new installations. Remove debris, litter, and fallen leaves; maintain clean walkways, parking lots, and common areas. Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and hand tools. Perform minor irrigation system checks, repairs, and adjustments. Assist with snow removal (shoveling, plowing, salting, equipment operating) during winter months. Identify and report potential property issues such as pest problems, damaged equipment, or safety hazards. Work collaboratively with the crew to complete jobs efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or lawn care preferred (2+ years ideal). Ability to operate power equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently. Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Basic knowledge of plants, turf care, and common landscaping techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Reliable transportation, working cell phone, and punctuality. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends during peak seasons.
Communication:
Must have a working cell phone to maintain active communication with the supervisor while on the property. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
