Job Description Job Summary:
Daily activities require the maintenance and operation of various tools and equipment associated with a commercial grounds and landscaping operation. Duties also include the proper care and maintenance of trees, shrubs, turf areas, flower beds, irrigation equipment, and hardscape along with campus recycling and trash removal. Responsibilities also include the performance of work in accordance with established safety procedures, the estimation of time and material costs on landscaping projects, the requisitioning of supplies and equipment, as well as snow and ice removal. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to work safely in varying temperature extremes since most work will occur outdoors.
Additional Information Required Qualifications:
High School education or GED Working knowledge of equipment and job functions of a commercial landscaping and grounds operation. Final canidate will need to complete a background check and pre-employment physical testing prior to the start of employment.
