FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Some people wait to be told every next step. Others walk a property, see what needs attention, and help get the work moving. We're looking for the second kind. ClearPath Lawn & Snow is seeking an experienced Lawn Care Technician to join our field team. We maintain commercial properties, HOAs, and residential lawns throughout the Omaha area. Our customers expect consistent quality, professional communication, and properties that are fully checked before our crews leave. This is a hands-on position. You will mow, trim, edge, blow, perform bed maintenance, complete seasonal cleanups, and assist with other lawn and landscape services. Every team member edges, and this is not a mower-only position. We are especially interested in someone who works well without constant supervision, communicates clearly, makes responsible field decisions, and helps the entire crew stay productive. The right person can lay clean, straight, consistent stripes that the crew, the company, and the customer can all be proud of. They notice unfinished details before the customer does and take ownership of getting them corrected.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce clean, consistent work on commercial, HOA, and residential properties. Operate commercial zero-turn, stand-on mowers, string trimmers and backpack blowers. Walk properties before and after service to identify site conditions, safety concerns, damage, and unfinished work. Maintain strong edging, trimming, cleanup, and overall property presentation. Help organize the daily workflow and keep work moving at a professional pace. Recognize when weather or property conditions affect one task and identify other productive work that can still be completed. Communicate delays, equipment problems, access issues, damage, and customer concerns promptly and accurately. Provide required job updates and photos before leaving each property. Safely load, secure, transport, and care for company equipment. Help train or guide less-experienced team members when needed. Protect customer property, close gates, follow site rules, and represent ClearPath professionally at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Two or more years of professional lawn care experience preferred. Strong experience with commercial mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing. Ability to evaluate turf and property conditions and clearly explain field decisions. Dependable, punctual, and prepared to complete the workday. Able to accept direction, take responsibility, and correct problems without excuses. Experience training, directing, or keeping other crew members on task is strongly preferred. Experience driving a truck with a trailer is preferred. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Working smartphone for scheduling, timekeeping, communication, and job photos. Able to work outdoors in changing weather, perform physical work throughout the day, and lift at least 50 pounds. Available for longer days and occasional weekend work when weather affects the weekly schedule.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AT CLEARPATH
You don't wait for someone else to notice what needs attention. You balance quality with production and help the crew complete the full schedule. You communicate problems early. You work alongside the team, set the pace through your own effort, and work respectfully with different personalities. You check every property before leaving and make sure the finished work represents the company well. At ClearPath, the standard is the standard. We're a small company growing quickly, and every team member plays an important role in where we're headed. We value people who are dependable, coachable, honest, safety-minded, and proud of the work the crew leaves behind.
TO APPLY
Submit a current work history that clearly shows your professional lawn care experience. Please include the types of commercial equipment you can operate, the types of properties you have maintained, and any experience you have training or guiding others. We also encourage you to include any leadership, supervisory, or management experience, even if it was gained outside the lawn care, snow removal industry. ClearPath Lawn & Snow is an equal-opportunity employer. Proud to Support Autism Acceptance.
