Job Description
The Keene School District is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining attractive, safe, and functional grounds and athletic fields across our facilities. This job reports to the Director of Buildings and Grounds.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain outdoor spaces, athletic fields (e.g., track, football), and recreational areas.
Prepare and set up grounds for special events, assemblies, and ceremonies, including graduation.
Perform routine grounds maintenance, erosion control, and safe application of pesticides.
Ensure all school outdoor areas remain clean, safe, and visually appealing year-round.
Qualifications
Prior grounds keeping or landscaping experience preferred.
Driver's License, the ability to safely operate grounds keeping equipment and handle pesticide applications.
Benefits
Full-time positions include an excellent health and dental benefits package, featuring enrollment in the New Hampshire Retirement System (NHRS). The pay is $20.00-$20.88 with a .75 cent differential. Please refer to Keene Job Description # 3406 on our website (www.sau29.org) under Human Resources.
