Job Description
Pritchard Industries is a dynamic and innovative provider of comprehensive facility services, dedicated to enhancing the operational efficiency of our client partners in the industries we serve. With services from facility maintenance and janitorial to landscaping and snow removal, we enable desired outcomes for our clients through consistent service and outstanding people. We are seeking to hire a Groundskeeper. You may be responsible for maintaining the safety, appearance, and functionality of district grounds and outdoor facilities. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining school properties, athletic fields, landscaping, and outdoor spaces to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community. Key Responsibilities Maintain school grounds including lawns, gardens, athletic fields, parking lots, and walkways Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging. Maintain and prepare athletic fields for practices and events Operate and maintain grounds equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools Perform seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow and ice removal, and storm cleanup Assist with irrigation system maintenance and repairs Maintain landscaping including planting, pruning, and general upkeep of trees and shrubs Monitor grounds for safety hazards and report maintenance issues Assist facilities staff with outdoor event setup and special projects as needed Follow all district safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be able to pass State Background Check Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related work preferred Ability to operate landscaping and grounds equipment safely Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license required.
