A Landscaping or Groundskeeping Worker provides landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Provides care for plants and trees including mowing, trimming and planting, and repairs driveways, walks, benches or other structures.
Crew Member is responsible for carrying out basic landscape management functions safely and efficiently on assigned contract maintenance projects. Crew Member is a person with a couple years experience in the landscape industry. They will report to the General manager.
Principal Responsibilities:
Dependable; consistently arrives to work on time, responds to management direction and commits to the required hours for job completion that will vary based on weather/season. Operates mechanized equipment as required, including Zero-turn lawnmowers, gas-powered sheers, weed eater, stick edger, backpack blower, push mower, wheel barrow, hand tools. Performs assigned daily work requirements inclusive of: mowing, edging, trimming, planting, watering, detailing ornamental plant material, weed-eating, pulling weeds, clearing of hard surfaces, laying sod or masonry materials, digging, raking, and assisting in installation. Assists in loading and unloading equipment, tools, and supplies on truck. Assists in keeping job site, vehicles, trailers, and offices safe, clean and organized. Informs supervisor of problem areas on site, equipment or supply issues, or of any accident or loss. Complies with all company policies, procedures and safety requirements, especially in the handling of equipment. Performs other duties as required.

Maintains attention and concentration during dangerous tasks and while using equipment for extended periods of time. Must have reliable transportation to the office. Must have a Driver's License with a clean driving record. Pay based on experience - $18-$22/hr
