This individual would be responsible for the upkeep of the building, both inside and the surrounding grounds. Prior experience operating a truck with a snow plow is a requirement of this position. Duties Perform minor or routine maintenance (like changing air filters, replacing lightbulbs, or fixing broken items) and report major repair needs to management Empty trash and recycling receptacles, bag waste, and transport it to dumpsters. Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, strip, wax, and buff hard floors, and shampoo carpets. Perform minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs or fixing leaks. Monitor facilities for safety hazards, clean up accidental spills promptly, and follow proper rules for handling chemical cleaners. Mowing grass, pulling weeds, laying sod, and watering plants. Using and servicing tools like lawnmowers, leaf blowers, tractors, and trimmers. Clearing trash, cleaning walkways, and removing snow or fallen tree branches. Snow Removal - This is an essential function of this position. To be considered for this role you must have a clean NYS drivers license and record. Experience Proven experience in a similar role required. Must have prior knowledge of snow removal and operation of related equipment. Ability to perform minor repairs, change light bulbs, and report major facility issues. Understanding basic building operations and know how to use hand tools for routine fixes like leaky faucets or changing light bulbs. Clean NYS driving license and record required.
