About the
Oversee landscape installation, planting, mulching, and seasonal clean-ups (spring and fall).Operate and maintain all landscaping equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks to crew members, and ensure all work is completed on time and to company standards.
Monitor the health of plants, lawns, and trees; apply fertilizers, herbicides, and treatments as necessary.
Perform snow removal and winter maintenance services as needed (Buffalo winters require it!).Communicate proactively with property managers and clients regarding project status, timelines, and any issues.
Train and mentor crew members on best practices, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
Extensive knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, turf management, and equipment operation.
Strong leadership and team management skills — you know how to motivate a crew.
Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions, including Buffalo winters.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate trucks and trailers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Pesticide applicator license is a plus but not required.

We are expanding our team in Buffalo, NY and are looking for an experienced, driven Landscape / Lawn Maintenance Foreman to lead our groundskeeping efforts and set the standard for quality outdoor maintenance.About the
Role:
This is a hybrid leadership position that combines hands-on landscaping and lawn maintenance work with crew supervision responsibilities. You will be the go-to person on the ground — leading by example, managing daily operations, and ensuring every property we service looks its absolute best year-round.Key Responsibilities:

3+ years of proven experience in landscaping and lawn maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role.Extensive knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, turf management, and equipment operation.

Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions, including Buffalo winters.
