Responsibilities Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute hardscape installations. Prepare sites by clearing, grading, and setting foundations for various outdoor structures. Install a variety of hardscape elements such as pavers, stonework, concrete features, and retaining walls using hand tools and power tools. Operate heavy equipment safely to move materials and prepare job sites efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project timelines. Conduct quality inspections of completed work, ensuring it meets design specifications and industry standards. Assist with remodeling projects that involve building material installation, flooring, window or glass installation, and electrical or plumbing components when required. Skills Extensive experience with hardscaping construction projects including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor features. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints. Strong knowledge of building materials such as stone, concrete, pavers, and landscape features. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation for outdoor construction tasks. Familiarity with construction management practices including estimating, inspection, and safety protocol adherence. Experience with building construction elements like carpentry (including trim carpentry), electrical work, plumbing, glass installation, flooring installation, and remodeling projects. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
