Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, edging, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Identify various plant species and assess their health needs; apply appropriate horticultural practices Install and repair irrigation systems to maintain optimal watering schedules for diverse landscapes Manage pest control by applying pesticides responsibly following safety guidelines and environmental regulations Execute hardscape projects like installing pathways, retaining walls, or decorative features with precision and care Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment during outdoor tasks Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping activities Ability to identify plants accurately and understand horticultural principles Knowledge of pesticide management and safe handling procedures Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Hands-on experience with outdoor work environments and grounds equipment operation Excellent understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work and equipment use Embark on a fulfilling career where your skills transform outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
