Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools safely and efficiently Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health of landscape features Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Apply pesticides, fertilizers, and other treatments following safety protocols to promote plant growth and pest control Maintain grounds by installing or repairing hardscape features like pathways, patios, or retaining walls Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents during outdoor work activities Requirements Proven experience in outdoor grounds maintenance or landscaping roles with knowledge of landscape upkeep practices Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and pest management Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks Familiarity with safety protocols related to the use of hand tools, power tools, pesticides, and equipment operation Excellent attention to detail for precise lawn care, gardening tasks, and landscape installation or repair Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate with colleagues on projects Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes!
