Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves hands-on tasks that contribute to the beautification and upkeep of various properties, ensuring that gardens, lawns, and hardscapes are maintained to the highest standards. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize hand tools and machinery for groundskeeping activities. Assist in the installation and maintenance of gardens, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Build and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Conduct regular lawn care activities including fertilization, aeration, and pest control. Provide tree care services including pruning and removal as needed. Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular checks and basic mechanical repairs. Ensure all work areas are clean and safe by adhering to safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Familiarity with various hand tools used in landscaping is essential. Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine equipment maintenance is a plus. A strong understanding of plant care, lawn care techniques, and hardscape installation will be beneficial. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
