Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscaper and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a variety of environments, applying your skills to enhance landscapes, gardens, and grounds. You will be responsible for executing landscape maintenance tasks, operating groundskeeping equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine Operate groundskeeping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and hardscape machinery safely and efficiently Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers to ensure proper care and health of landscape features Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Apply pesticides and fertilizers responsibly following safety protocols to promote healthy plant growth Maintain grounds by installing or repairing hardscape features like pathways, patios, or retaining walls Follow safety procedures diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents and injuries Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools necessary for daily tasks Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and plant care techniques Knowledge of irrigation systems, pesticide management, and lawn care practices Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols Familiarity with garden maintenance, gardening techniques, and hardscape installation is a plus Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions This position offers an engaging environment where your skills directly contribute to creating stunning landscapes.
