Job Description

Great opportunity to join a growing company and the ability to train/apprentice underground operator. Our company constructs and maintains telecommunication networks in the Capital region and within 100 miles. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Maintaining and demonstrating proper safety to include equipment and work zone set-up according to DOT specifications. Coordinate with the crew supervisor to ensure a clear understanding of roles and expectations in order to be productive. Assist with vehicle and machinery maintenance. Loading and unloading tools, material, and equipment needed. Hand excavating existing utilities.
Requirements:
Experience in a similar industry desired but will train the right candidate. Must have a current valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to use a variety of hand/power tools safely and effectively. Ability to lift approximately 75 lbs. Ability to kneel, squat, bend and twist as needed. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Time Requirement:
This is a full-time hourly position. You must be able to work beyond normal working hours of Monday through Friday including, occasionally, weekends.
