This role is essential in maintaining the beauty and health of residential and commercial landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of lawn care practices. As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that lawns, gardens, and landscapes are well-maintained and visually appealing. Duties Perform regular mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns to maintain a neat appearance. Execute tree care tasks including tree trimming and removal as necessary. Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Assist in the installation and maintenance of gardens, flower beds, and other landscape features. Conduct groundskeeping duties to keep outdoor areas clean and free from debris. Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, or other landscaping elements as needed. Monitor the health of plants and lawns, applying fertilizers or treatments as required. Skills Proficiency in lawn care techniques including mowing, trimming, and landscape maintenance. Experience with power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment. Knowledge of tree care practices including tree trimming and removal. Ability to perform snow plowing efficiently during winter conditions. Strong understanding of gardening principles and plant care. Excellent physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
